DMS

General:

• Artifacts will be published on the MISMO wiki, which is more transparent than MISMO Sharepoint.
• We will rework the DMS project request into a roadmap and the start of an Integration Guide.
• The roadmap will be kept up to date and serve as our ongoing written report to MISMO Governance.
• We will follow MISMO policies and procedures
• We will conduct our dialog on the “MISMO eMortgage Workgroup (Primary)” listserv.
  • If our dialog is considered noisy, we will squat the for-now-inactive “MISMO eMortgage Closing Interface Transactions” listserv.

Goals:

• To continue along the Document Management Services roadmap.
• To resist scope creep.
• To release early and often. This is in lieu of premeditated milestones.

Non-goals:

• Early standardization that threatens interoperability.

Use Cases:

• Basic Service - A client requests a service from a server
• Upload New Package - A loan processor requests the upload of a package to a document repository containing all documents related to an originated loan transaction.
• Upload Revised Document - A loan processor requests the upload of a revised document version to an existing loan transaction folder in a document repository.
• Search For Document Set - An auditor searches a document repository for all documents related to a loan transaction.
• View Document - An auditor reviews the image of a stored document by making a selection from the returned list of documents.
• Search Document Using Metadata - A loan officer searches a document repository for all security agreement documents by signed by an individual, providing that individual’s name and social security number.
