Mission and Overview

Secondary Workgroup Mission

Charter
The Secondary Workgroup has defined a standardized methodology for use in transferring mortgage servicing to the Residential Secondary Market. The business data includes, but is not limited to bulk transfer, pricing of products, flow/correspondent delivery, secondary marketing, and other related areas.

The following tools are used by the Secondary Workgroup:

  • Lyris Email Listserv:
    • General communication
    • Meeting Announcements (actual agendas and documents will be linked to in the body of the e-mail rather than being attached)
  • Wiki:
    • Meeting Agendas (with links to documents in Sharepoint)
    • Meeting Minutes (with links to documents and/or issues discussed)
    • Task List (where assigned tasks are kept track of)
    • Issue Log(where issues, resolutions ,and discussions regarding these will be kept).
    • Discussion Topics
    • Parking Lot (where topics are parked that need future discussion. .i.e. we know about this, but will address it later).
  • Sharepoint:
    • All documents (word docs, pdfs, excel files, etc.)
    • Schemas and Contivo Files
  • Excel:
    • The Workgroup will use Excel to manage data points for the new proposed 3.x transactions until they are defined. This was decided because people were much more comfortable and familiar with Excel. This will not be the permanent solution, but a temporary tool used to more rapidly accomplish workgroup tasks.
  • Contive Builder: this will be used after the workgroup has determined all the business issues and data points necessary for a transaction.
