DISCUSSION:
- Ted Adams began the meeting with a discussion on Parsed and Unparsed address. Group reviewed the MISMO_Address_Proposal_v2.doc (all discussion captured here).
- Next the group reviewed the work completed on Borrower reconciliation.
- Greg Alvord gave an overview of xlink as a solution to address many-to-many relationships in V3 that were addressed via IDREF and IDREFS in V2. These are only to be used where containment relationships are not possible. MISMO will need to decide upon the xlink:arcrole definitions. These names will be uniquely identified by Uniform Resource Names (URN) and be restricted by well-defined business cases. Greg Alvord will create some xlink examples and pictures to demonstrate the proposed use of xlink.
- Next the group began discussions on a generalized Package structure for use in all MISMO process areas and is the proposed new structure for SMART Documents. Rachael Sokolowski presented the new Package structure which allows for both encoded and embedded files as well as binary attachments by using XOP. Rachael will provide a Package comp file to Dave Krause and work with eMCIT to prepare some examples for the Face to Face meeting in Houston. The eMortgage Workgroup will prepare samples using this Package structure. There was also discussion about whether or not Package should be a parent or a child of the DEAL. Doing so would eliminate many implementation challenges. If a child, Deal should be located under Part.
- Next, there was a discussion of pre-closing vs post-closing models. There was a proposal by Greg Alvord to have two concrete models, one for pre-closing and one for post-closing. There was a distinction made that pre-closing the focus is strongly borrower focused, and post-closing is very loan focused.
